Meet Dr. Manson
Dr. Manson is pediatric dentist and the founder of Aire Pediatric Dentistry. As a mother of young children and with her husband being a functional medicine physician, her family truly embodies the holistic lifestyle, and she felt it was time to build this approach into pediatric dental practice.
Her 16 years of experience spans the country. She noticed many children had similar dental conditions and that no one seemed exempt from dental disease. Most of her career was working with the Indian Health Council where she was exposed to herbal remedies, more natural medicine options based on the culture of the population she treated.
What really shifted her perspective as it relates to her professional growth, was the story of her dog, Ziggy. (see Ziggy’s story here- maybe a video of me telling Zig’s story? Or have a separate tab to it).
Her hope is to normalize prevention, optimize children’s microbiome to promote a healthy mind, guide growth, prevent cavities, and avoid or delay dental sedation if possible. All of this is only possible when the doctor/patient relationship has a strong foundation rooted in trust.

Dr. Marian Iskander Manson has degrees from the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern, and completed pediatric dental residency at The University of Tennessee in Memphis, home of the infamous St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. She is board certified pediatric dentist and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
She has completed advanced coursework in airway health, early expansion and interceptive orthodontics, and the oral-systemic connection.

Institute of Functional Dentistry (affiliation with the IFM for physicians) - certification as a functional dentist is in progress.
Spring University Graduate (Advanced training in zirconia crown placement)

Meet Dr. Barbee
Dr. Monica Barbee is Dr. Manson’s sister (formerly known as the “Iskander Sisters”). She is a general dentist with over 9 years of experience. Her compassion and skill is unmatched. She will be caring for our teenagers and adult patients when indicated. She also will be in the first graduating class of the Institute of Functional Dentistry. These will be the first sisters to graduate together!
